About Coach Chris

Hey, here’s a bit about me (in 3rd person).

With over a decade working one-on-one with students and performers as one of Adelaide’s most well respected drum and percussion educators, Chris brings the same level of dedication and industry-leading standards from the bandstand to the running space, and is driven to provide his clients with truly personal, sustainable, and quality training support.

Chris is proud to be a Mile27 Athlete under the guidance of legendary coach Andy Dubois and in his time with Andy, has successfully integrated Stryd power meters into his own training and coaching practices.

Chris currently lives on the mid-coast of South Australia with his partner Tess, and young son, Flynn.

Chris Neale is a UESCA-certified ultramarathon running coach who offers his clients a competitive combination of proven race success and highly effective coaching practices.

With top 20 finishes at some of South Australia’s most well known trail races including Yurebilla 56k (5th 2021), Cape to Bay 68k (3rd 2022), Heysen 100k (11th, 2020), and Belair Marathon (6th, 2022), as well as a sub-14hr silver buckle finish at Ultra Trail Australia (2021), Chris knows what it takes to train at a competitive level and translate this preparation into race day success.
